Vertical Systems International Inc. has been training workers that do business in extreme environments since 1998. In addition to the various technical and rescue training programs we offer, our employees are also directly involved with our production services including helicopter long line rescue, high angle rescue and industrial mountaineering services.
Our success lies in the fact that our instructors are all practitioners in the disciplines they teach. Instructors and field technicians at VSI have a common training background that may include advanced level emergency first aid, rope access certification or ACMG guide certification. They also have practical experience in the area in which they work and teach, allowing VSI staff to pick up where other training organizations leave off. We don’t just teach how to climb; we teach how to work successfully at heights, in confined spaces, and in wilderness environments.
